We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Production Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be key to keeping our production running smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. You’ll optimize workflows to reduce cycle times, control material waste, and troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor while ensuring our customers get top-quality products on time. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Process Improvement

• Establish, implement, and continuously improve production methods to boost productivity and reduce waste/rejections.
• Work closely with shop floor teams to improve cycle times and achieve safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production personnel during daily operations.
• Maintain machine reliability by troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and establishing root-cause corrective action plans.
• Drive 5S principles across the production floor to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Material Planning & Inventory Control

• Calculate raw material consumption for all projects and generate Purchase Requisitions (PRNs) for direct materials, consumables, components, and tools.
• Monitor daily inventory levels and material usage to prevent production downtime.
• Perform end-of-month physical stock counts and submit inventory reports to the Accounting team.
• Liaise closely with the Procurement & Logistics teams to specify material requirements, verify orders, and track delivery statuses.

Reporting & Quality Control

• Perform data entry and verify accuracy for Daily Production Reports, Material Usage, Wastage Reports, and Final Inspection Checklists.
• Analyze and report monthly material usage versus production output to senior management.
• Track total stock value against active customer orders to support inventory management in monthly meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: 2-4 of experience in a production, manufacturing, or process engineering role.
• Strong technical background with proven machine/equipment troubleshooting skills.
• solid understanding of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or process optimization techniques.
• Proficient in material consumption calculation, stock control, and production reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments (Procurement, Logistics, QA, Operations).

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• factory production managment: 3 years (Required)
