The Executive Dean provides senior strategic leadership to support institutional growth, academic excellence, and organisational transformation. The role requires an accomplished higher education leader with extensive executive experience in managing large-scale university operations and driving strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in alignment with the university’s vision and long-term objectives.
• Lead institutional transformation, academic excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive research strategy, academic quality, innovation, and international engagement.
• Collaborate with university leadership, governing bodies, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Strengthen institutional reputation, partnerships, and overall performance.
• Develop and mentor academic leaders while enhancing organisational capability.
• Represent the university at national and international platforms.

Main Candidate Criteria (Mandatory)

• Experienced Executive Dean / senior academic leader with proven experience in a university with 10,000+ students.
• Prior experience as a Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, or equivalent senior university executive role is mandatory.
• PhD graduate from a recognized institution.
• Strong academic profile with multiple peer-reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated success in university-wide strategy, governance, transformation, and institutional development.
• Extensive experience leading large academic teams and multidisciplinary functions.
• Strong understanding of higher education governance, quality frameworks, and global academic trends.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication capabilities.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
