Build a Career Beyond Traditional Engineering

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply technical knowledge to real-life insurance claims involving machinery failures, construction incidents and other engineering-related losses.

No prior insurance experience is required. Training will be provided.

Fresh graduates with relevant engineering qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct site inspections and technical investigations for insurance claims involving engineering, machinery and construction-related losses.

Investigate the cause, origin, nature and extent of damage.

Assess whether the reported damage is consistent with the circumstances of the incident.

Prepare clear, concise and professional reports containing findings, analysis and recommendations.

Liaise with insurers, takaful operators, policyholders, brokers, contractors, consultants and other relevant parties.

Manage assigned claims from initial inspection through to final reporting.

Ensure reports and updates are completed accurately and within the required timelines.

Travel to various locations for inspections and investigations.

Types of Claims: The successful candidate may be involved in claims relating to:

Fire and explosion

Machinery breakdown

Contractors’ All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR) and Industrial All Risks (IAR)

Water damage and burst pipes

Storm and flood

Equipment and engineering failures

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Building Services, Industrial, Manufacturing or another relevant Engineering discipline.

Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Good report-writing and communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Willing to travel for site inspections and investigations.

Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence.

Experience: Candidates with experience in engineering, construction, maintenance, manufacturing, project management, consultancy or technical services are encouraged to apply.

Experience in insurance claims, loss adjusting, forensic engineering or technical investigations will be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications, strong technical aptitude and a positive learning attitude are encouraged to apply.
