Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planner role based in Gelang Patah. The Planner will be responsible for preparing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand and internal capacity constraints, ensuring optimal utilization of materials, equipment, and labor. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring order status, coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams, updating planning systems, and resolving scheduling conflicts or delays. The Planner will analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to propose planning strategies and adjustment plans. The role also involves generating regular reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining accurate planning data in relevant systems.

Qualifications

• Medical manufacturing background.

• Strong proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management, with ability to balance demand and capacity.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or related planning systems, along with solid skills in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and basic quality and logistics concepts.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and customer service.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant planning or logistics experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Gelang Patah and adapt to a multi-cultural, global manufacturing environment.
