Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Infrastructure Engineer to support the planning, design, and coordination of civil infrastructure works. The candidate will be involved in engineering design, technical coordination, and project delivery across various development projects, including earthworks, drainage, roads, and utilities.

This role is ideal for engineers with solid design exposure who are ready to take on greater responsibility in project execution and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out engineering design and analysis for infrastructure works including:

• Earthworks design (cut & fill optimization)
• Stormwater drainage design
• Detention/retention systems design
• Road and pavement design
• Water reticulation design
• Sewerage reticulation design

- Prepare and review:

• Engineering calculations and reports
• Technical drawings (CAD/BIM)
• Quantity take-offs and cost estimates

- Coordinate with:

• Internal team (architectural, project management, c&s)
• External consultants and authorities
• Clients and contractors

- Assist in authority submissions and ensure compliance with local guidelines.

- Support project management activities, including progress monitoring and design coordination

- Provide technical support during construction stage, including resolving site issues and reviewing shop drawings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• 3-6 years relevant working experience in civil / infrastructure design
• Experience in consultancy or design-based role preferred
• Exposure to Malaysian authorities' submission process is an advantage
• Experience in large scale development such as townships, solar farm, etc. is an advantage
• Experience in structural design is an advantage
• Experience in multi-discipline coordination (C&S+Archi+Project Management)
• Proficient in design software such as Civil3D, MiTs, Epanet, etc.
• Registered with BEM
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong coordination and communication abilities
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
