Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Simpang Ampat. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, focusing on retaining rings and plastic and metal parts used in semiconductor and related applications.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draughtsman to join our team. The Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, plans, and layouts for engineering, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, familiarity with CAD software, and the ability to collaborate with engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Detailed Technical Drawings: Create accurate 2D/3D drawings and blueprints based on project requirements and specifications.  Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawing of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with engineers and other project members to ensure all design concepts are accurately represented in the drawings.
• Review and Modify Drawings: Update existing drawings and revise designs based on feedback, ensuring alignment with changes or new specifications.
• Ensure Accuracy and Quality: Double-check all drafts for technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials): Generate lists of materials needed for projects based on the design, ensuring all necessary components are accounted for.
• Manage Documentation: Organize and maintain the drawing files, ensuring all revisions are properly tracked and documented.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Draughtsman or in a similar role within Semiconductor industry. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Proficiency in CAD Software: Proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Strong Attention to Detail: Excellent precision in drafting and a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and implement solutions.
