Qualifications:

1) Diploma and above.

2) Mechanical, electrical and electronic, mechatronics or related fields.

3) Relevant machinery technical skills in manufacturing industry.

4) Understand safety and health practices.

5) Able to work in diverse and dynamic environment.

6) Interpersonal skills: communication, team work, problem solving, adaptability, empathy.

7) Organizational skills: time management, self-discipline, planning, working under pressure, analytical thinking, attention to details.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance

1) Perform routine inspection and servicing according to preventive maintenance schedule of the followings:

a) Air compressor sets (air compressor, air dryer, air receiver tank);

b) Chillers;

c) Machinery and equipment in operation departments:

‒ Extrusion;

‒ PSF (printing and slitting);

‒ Sealing and cutting.

2) Record and document preventive maintenance conducted.

3) Assist in developing preventive maintenance plan.

• Machine Maintenance

4) Observe and report to superior for any machinery and equipment abnormality. Request users to stop operating machines for abnormality found.

5) Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment. Report to superior for issues encountered (e.g., unsure mechanical faults, abnormality etc.) to seek for remedial plan and execute action plan.

6) Record and document maintenance conducted.

7) Refurbish machine.

• Using Equipment and Tools

8) Utilize basic maintenance tools (e.g., allen key, spanar, screw, hammer etc.) in appropriate methods and keep away them in clean and tidy conditions.

9) Operate welding machine.

10) Operate milling machine.

• Machine Installation

11) Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment.

12) Assist in testing and validation to ensure new machinery and equipment are properly installed for safe operation.

• General Work Practice

13) Adhere to safe work practices and regulations.

14) Carry out housekeeping after maintenance activities and maintain clean working environment.

15) Maintain spare parts inventory, report and order supplies via procurement department as needed. Determine size and model number or provide the actual parts for ordering purpose.

• Communication

16) Communicate with superior for maintenance related issues, propose effective remedial plan, and seek approval to execute the action plan to maintain well-being of the machinery and equipment.

• Documentation

17) Ensure any data or record required are up to date.

18) Keep paperwork organized.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Required)

Experience:

• Technician: 2 years (Required)
