Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating as per recipes and standards
• Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet hotel standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in compliance with HACCP
• Properly store food items to minimize wastage
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies
• Support training of Commis Chefs when required
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

Job Types: Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
