Storage Engineer - Dell EMC

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)
Salary: Up to RM20,000/month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax (PMAX), Dell PowerScale, Pure Storage FlashArray, and SAN technologies, with expertise in storage provisioning, migration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Dell EMC PowerMax (PMAX), Dell PowerScale, and Pure Storage FlashArray environments.
• Perform storage provisioning, capacity management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Plan and execute storage migration projects with minimal downtime.
• Configure and monitor storage replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage Cisco MDS SAN switches, including zoning, firmware upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Support storage integration with VMware, Solaris, AIX, and IBM AS400 environments.
• Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Support incident, change, and problem management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years+ of experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax (PMAX), Dell PowerScale, and Pure Storage FlashArray.
• Strong knowledge of SAN technologies, Cisco MDS, storage replication, and firmware upgrades.
• Familiarity with VMware, Solaris, AIX, and IBM AS400 platforms.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, firewall rules, and DWDM.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred: Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Cisco, or ITIL certifications are an added advantage.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Dell Powerscale: 5 years (Preferred)
• Pure FlashArray: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dell EMC: 5 years (Preferred)
