Position : QA Specialist

Salary Range : RM 3,000 - RM 5,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Specialist to support the software quality assurance process by executing test activities, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-quality applications. The role works closely with development and product teams to validate system functionality and improve overall software quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and analyse system requirements and specifications
• Execute test cases, test scripts, and regression tests to identify software defects
• Document, log, and track defects using issue tracking tools
• Assist in designing, creating, and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Support setup and configuration of test environments for testing activities
• Prepare and maintain test data for different test scenarios
• Analyse test results and assist in identifying issues, trends, and improvement areas
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely defect resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards
• Learn and apply new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (QA-related certification is an advantage)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or QA-related roles
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and QA processes
• Ability to design test cases, execute tests, and document defects clearly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar)
• Experience in full SDLC and software testing lifecycle is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a team environment

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

• PostgreSQL: 2 years (Preferred)
