Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Facilities Engineer di Meridian Maplestar Sdn. Bhd. Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

1. Facility Maintenance:

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of building systems such as air-conditioning, plumbing, CCTV, and fire safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health and environmental standards, and local building codes.
• Manage and maintain building infrastructure including the roof, Passenger Hoist, and common areas.

2. Project Management:

• Lead and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, system upgrades, and construction.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

3. Energy Management:

• Develop and implement energy-efficient strategies to reduce facility energy consumption and costs.
• Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for energy-saving measures.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Manage the facility’s budget, track expenses, and ensure that expenditures align with allocated funds.
• Prepare cost estimates for facility improvement projects and handle procurement of materials and services.

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Monitor and maintain all safety protocols, ensuring the facility complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain safety records and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Ensure that fire and safety systems are operational and compliant with regulations.

6. Space Planning & Optimization:

• Oversee the utilization of building space and design layouts to optimize efficiency.
• Plan for future facility needs and expansion.

7. Vendor & Contractor Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure vendor performance meets agreed-upon service levels and terms.

8. Troubleshooting & Emergency Response:

• Respond to urgent facility issues or emergencies, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure business continuity by addressing any disruptions caused by facility-related issues.

9. Others:

• To comply with the safety standards and policies implemented by the Company at all times and be responsible for your safety as well as others without posing any threat, hazard, or endangerment wherever you will be when representing the Company.
• Any other duties assigned

Education & Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or a related field.
• Knowledge of building systems (Air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing) and building codes/regulations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
