Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Facility & Maintenance
Location: Government Clinic
Reports To: Clinic Administrator / Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To ensure all clinic facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and in proper working condition to support smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Attend to daily maintenance requests and troubleshoot breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure air-conditioning, lighting, water supply, and sanitation systems are functioning properly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the schedule and report any abnormalities.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the clinic’s premises and surroundings.
• Support in setting up equipment or furniture for clinic operations when required.
• Record maintenance work, report completed tasks, and highlight issues requiring contractor attention.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and government facility standards.
• Monitor and manage tools, materials, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance.
• At least 1 year of working experience in maintenance or related field (clinic/hospital experience is an advantage).
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair works.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work on standby or after office hours if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
