About this Role

We are seeking an Industrial Relations (IR) Manager to manage and provide the necessary support and infrastructure to facilitate a conducive and harmonious working environment. In this role, you will lead our employee relations, ensuring fair practices, resolving complex disputes and inculcating a positive, ethical and compliant work environment.

What You’ll Do?

• Act to resolve all grievances and industrial disputes at the most amicable level
• Assess workplace issues and implement fair solutions
• Address staff misconduct / disciplinary issues as well as to initiate appropriate actions against delinquent staff
• Craft fair and legally compliant workplace policies

What We're Looking For?

• A recognised Degree
• Results-driven IR Practitioner with at least 10 years of experience in industrial relations
• Strong understanding of labour laws, employment contracts, dispute resolution mechanisms and disciplinary procedures
• Ability to negotiate with trade unions and oversee the implementation of collective agreements
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
• Possess strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Proven track record of managing and leading a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment.
