Role Description The Warehouse Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelang, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. This role includes planning and supervising receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and optimal use of space and resources. The manager coordinates workload, assigns tasks, and supports team members to meet performance, safety, and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring warehouse KPIs, resolving operational issues, liaising with internal teams and customers, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, staff scheduling, and performance management.
• Proficiency in Operations Management and Warehouse Management to oversee daily workflows and optimize processes.
• Experience with Inventory Control, including stock accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, coordinate with clients, and support service quality expectations.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic office software (e.g., Excel, word processing tools).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management; supervisory experience is highly beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is an advantage.
