Job Summary

Lead the Accounting Services Team and collaborate with the Managing Partner to manage accounting processes, financial reporting, payroll, and tax submissions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Accounting Services Team to deliver high-quality client accounting services in collaboration with the Managing Partner
• Manage end-to-end accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accurate financial records
• Execute month-end closing activities and prepare detailed Balance Sheet schedules to support financial reporting
• Analyze expenses and perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
• Prepare and submit GST quarterly returns in compliance with regulatory deadlines
• Calculate monthly payroll and manage CPF submissions to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation processing
• Assist in preparing tax computations and submitting tax returns to IRAS to meet statutory requirements
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements including Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement, and disclosure notes in accordance with IFRS standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge and experience using Xero accounting software
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative to meet objectives and deadlines independently
