Role Description This Quantity Surveyor role is a hybrid position based in Jurong East, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), support tendering activities, and assist in evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations. Daily tasks include cost planning and estimation for electrical infrastructure projects, monitoring project budgets, and supporting cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves preparing cost reports, assisting in contract administration, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure financial and contractual compliance. The Quantity Surveyor will also help identify cost risks and opportunities, provide timely financial updates to stakeholders, and maintain accurate project documentation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience.
  • Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
  • Proficiency in Tender preparation and measurement, with experience in Tender review and documentation.
  • Ability to perform Cost Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering for projects.
  • Experience in Cost Reporting, including periodic financial reporting, variance analysis, and final account preparation.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electrical, mechanical infrastructure or industrial construction projects is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Competence with MS Excel and cost estimation; ability to interpret tender specifications, technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.
