Full Time Commis Chef Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,500 in New Chen Motor Credit Johor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation

* Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.

* Wash, peel, cut, portion, and marinate ingredients as required.

* Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.

* Ensure all food is prepared according to company SOPs and recipes.

* Complete mise en place before service.

2. Kitchen Operations

* Support daily kitchen operations in assigned sections.

* Ensure workstations are fully prepared before service.

* Assist senior chefs during busy service periods.

* Follow instructions from the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Junior Sous Chef.

* Work efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and service.

3. Food Quality

* Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation.

* Check ingredient quality before use.

* Ensure proper portion control.

* Report any food quality issues to senior chefs immediately.

4. Food Safety & Hygiene

* Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.

* Follow Food Safety, Hygiene, and Sanitation SOPs.

* Practice proper hand hygiene and safe food handling.

* Ensure correct food storage, labeling, FIFO, and temperature control.

* Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas after use.

5. Stock Handling

* Inform senior chefs of low-stock items.

* Store ingredients properly to reduce spoilage.

* Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.

* Help with stock counts when assigned.

6. Equipment Care

* Operate kitchen equipment safely.

* Clean equipment after each use.

* Report damaged equipment immediately.

* Handle company equipment responsibly.

* Cooperate with all kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

* Be willing to learn new skills and techniques.

* Assist other sections whenever required.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
