Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation for daily service (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Support chefs with basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
• Learn and follow standard recipes, portion control, and presentation techniques
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Receive and store kitchen supplies and ingredients properly
• Participate in kitchen briefings and training sessions
• Assist with setting up and breaking down workstations
• Handle tasks as assigned by the chef or supervisor

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related program
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items
