Join our Design Innovation & User Experience team to design talent attraction and employee experiences through creating holistic and meaningful experiences to strengthen DSTA’s employer branding and employee engagement.

As Head, Employee Experience & Design, you will lead organization level experience strategy across talent attraction strategies, employee engagement, digital systems and physical infrastructure. Through design thinking and service design approach and product management, you will drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and enhance DSTA's employer brand throughout the employee and talent lifecycle.

You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of UX Architects and UX Designers, providing strategic direction and coaching while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and align experience initiatives with organization priorities to deliver impact.

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification in the relevant area is an advantage
• At least 8 - 10 years of experience in experience design, service design, digital systems design and product management, including leading organization wide initiatives
• Experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary design or product teams
• Strong ability to translate organization challenges into experience-led and product-led solutions from strategy through implementation
• Familiarity with product development and management practices such as research, road mapping, prioritisation and outcome-based delivery
• Experience in designing employee-facing digital platforms and workplace systems is an advantage
