Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Execute projects according to defined timelines and budgets
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts

Team Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional teams and assign tasks
  • Foster collaboration and accountability
  • Provide guidance and support to team members

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans
  • Proactively resolve issues to minimize project impact

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and requirements
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions

Budget & Resource Management

  • Track project budgets and expenditures
  • Optimize resource utilization
  • Prepare financial forecasts and reports

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 3–8+ years of project management experience (varies by level)
  • Experience managing cross-functional or technical projects preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana)
  • Knowledge of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)

Certifications (Preferred)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent
