Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Advisor role is based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The Insurance Advisor is responsible for meeting with prospective and existing customers to understand their protection and financial needs, and recommending suitable insurance products and solutions. Daily tasks include providing policy information, preparing quotations, handling applications, and supporting customers with claims-related inquiries. The role involves maintaining accurate records, following company compliance and regulatory guidelines, and working with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The Insurance Advisor is also expected to build long-term relationships, participate in sales and training activities, and contribute to achieving individual and team performance targets.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Insurance products and principles; ability to assess customer needs and match appropriate coverage.
• Foundational skills in Finance or any related fields, including basic financial planning concepts and the ability to explain financial implications of insurance solutions.
• Experience or aptitude in Consulting, with the ability to provide advisory services, analyze customer situations, and suggest tailored recommendations.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and effective handling of inquiries and issues.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
• Relevant educational background in business, finance, insurance, or a related field; professional certifications in insurance or financial advisory are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, manage time effectively, and meet performance and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with basic office software and customer management tools; fluency in English and local languages is beneficial.
