Site Engineer is responsible for monitoring the site implementation of the construction projects. Ultimately, you will be organising and supervising the site operations of the assigned projects by ensuring the compliance with building codes and quality standards.
- Understand and interpret construction drawings proficiently.
- Perform engineering calculation, testing and validation to support assigned tasks.
- Review technical and design input on projects while ensuring work quality is maintained within the expected standard.
- Coordinate (single-handedly if necessary) with all parties, including subcontractors and consultants, to resolve on-site issues.
- Assist with actual site implementation with thorough understanding of testing and inspection procedures, quality and specification requirements, as well as ISO forms.
- Assist with daily monitoring and updating of work progress, ensuring smooth implementation of the master programme whilst maintaining the quality of works.
- Understand and implement the master programme, construction methodology, manpower, materials and plant schedules.
- Guide the Technical Officer/Technical Assistant in the related works and resolve on-site issues, hindrances and disputes amicably.
- Maintain proper records, updated drawings, amendments and filed forms.
You must have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or other equivalent fields.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in infrastructure or building construction, or related fields.
- Proven experience as Site Engineer in large-scale development projects.
- Experience in planning and executing projects.
- Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and modelling software.
