Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to hotel recipes and standards.
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow all kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Demi Chef, Commis Chef, or similar position in a hotel or restaurant.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Malaysian applicants are encouraged to apply.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
