Payroll Executive

Job Summary
The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing payroll processing for outsourced employees, ensuring timely salary payments, statutory compliance, and accurate payroll records. The role also supports employee payroll enquiries, attendance verification, and coordination with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for outsourced employees accurately and on time.
- Verify attendance, overtime, allowances, claims, and deductions before payroll processing.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, incentives, commissions, and other payroll components.
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act and payroll regulations.
- Generate payroll reports, payslips, and management reports.
- Handle payroll-related enquiries from employees professionally.
- Liaise with clients regarding attendance records, payroll discrepancies, and invoice-related matters.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
- Process new joiners, resignations, salary adjustments, and final salary payments.
- Support audits and prepare payroll documentation when required.
- Work closely with the Recruitment, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Assist with other HR and administrative duties when assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of payroll experience. Experience in outsourced manpower or recruitment agency payroll is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and payroll practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, formulas).
- Experience with payroll systems is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and meet payroll deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Payroll processing for *************+ employees.
- Experience handling foreign workers and outsourced workforce payroll.
- Experience preparing client billing and payroll reconciliation.
- Familiarity with HRMS, SQL Payroll, AutoCount, or similar payroll software.

Salary Range
RM2,800 – RM4,500 (depending on experience)
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
