Job Responsibilities

• Install GPON/Fibre broadband services for residential and business customers.
• Install and configure ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, and mesh systems.
• Perform fibre testing, service activation, and speed verification.
• Troubleshoot fibre, internet, Wi-Fi, and network-related issues.
• Carry out maintenance and repair works.
• Complete service reports and update work orders.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure quality installations.
• Follow company SOPs and safety requirements.

Required Skills

• GPON installation and troubleshooting
• Fibre splicing (preferred)
• Fibre termination
• Optical Power Meter (OPM)
• Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
• OTDR (preferred)
• Router configuration
• Wi-Fi optimization
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, PPPoE)
• Cable management
• Customer communication

Requirements

• SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience in GPON FTTX (FTTH/FTTO) installation and troubleshooting is a MUST
• Basic knowledge of networking and fibre optic systems.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence.
• Willing to travel and work outdoors.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
