About The Role
As a team member within the GIA Project Audit team, this role will support the planning and delivery of project audit assignments across key projects within AIA Group. The individual will assist in assessing project governance, delivery and related risks, preparing clear and practical observations, and supporting the development of business-oriented recommendations to strengthen project governance and delivery outcomes. He/she will contribute to audit execution, stakeholder engagement, reporting and follow-up activities in line with the GIA Methodology and the overall audit plan.
Support delivery of project audit engagements
- Support the planning and execution of project audits across major system, digital, data and transformation initiatives. Assist in assessing key project governance, delivery and data management risks across the project lifecycle, preparing audit working papers and documenting conclusions in line with the GIA Methodology.
Contribute observations and support issue follow-up
- Assist in developing clear, practical and evidence-based observations and recommendations for management review. Support the identification of recurring themes across audit work and help track agreed actions to support timely closure.
Support stakeholder engagement and audit planning activities
- Develop effective working relationships with project teams, business stakeholders and GIA colleagues. Support stakeholder discussions, information requests, audit planning inputs and other activities required to deliver the Project Audit plan.
Contribute to methodology, digital adoption and analytics
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of GIA methodology, tools and templates. Support the use of data analytics, AI tools and digital platforms to enhance audit coverage, productivity and insight generation where relevant.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related discipline. Minimum seven years of experience in audit, risk and consulting or project delivery. Experience in large-scale projects or transformation programmes is preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is preferred.
- Good understanding of project governance and delivery lifecycle (e.g. SDLC, Agile or Waterfall).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to present clear and concise insights.
