Role Description The Quantity Surveyor role at T.A.G. Construction Pte. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), support tender preparation, and analyze project costs to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting. The role involves monitoring ongoing project expenditures, tracking variations, and updating cost plans and reports throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to validate quantities, assess claims, and support contract administration. The individual will contribute to cost optimization while maintaining compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, and manage BOQ documents with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in cost planning and cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering.
• Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to monitor project financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, particularly demolition, earthworks, and civil works.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and cost management software.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary site and office teams.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, contracts, and BCA standards is an advantage.
