Role Summary:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Possess basic written communication skills. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Basic PC skills. The work environment is very fast-paced and noisy. It is one of constant movements while performing the duties of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
Essential Responsibilities:
Health, Safety and Environment
- Actively participate in HSE programs as assigned
- Keep work areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times in accordance with 6S checklist
- If ever any HSE incident takes place, Stop Work and report immediately to your manager
- Review all associated ORA’s/HRA’s/MOC’s/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work at any time for safety Health, Safety and Environment
Delivery
- Optimize workflow, warehouse/yard layout efficiency “Lean”
- Liaise with AMO/Mfg./Service Delivery/Logistics/Quality as needed to ensure on time delivery and shipments
- Other warehouse and yard duties/projects as assigned
- Be able to achieve and maintain Competency Assessments as required
- Perform data entry into respective systems timely & accurately
- Deliver as outlined in local service level agreement
- 6S and Lean – Execute 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety) plan
- Perform physical inventory and asset verification (CC/API) Delivery
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent professional certification
- Must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading
- Possesses SAP experiences will be added advantage
- Have a good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP or ORACLE will be added advantage
- Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel and Outlook will be added advantage
Additional Information:
- Entitled for overtime
- 6 months contract
- Monday to Friday (5 working days per week)
