We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the full spectrum of accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end closing and coordinating with external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities efficiently and independently.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities when required.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management's decision-making.
• Assist in implementing and enhancing internal controls, accounting procedures and financial systems.
• Operate AutoCount accounting software efficiently for daily accounting activities and reporting.
• Guide and support junior finance team members by providing training and supervision when necessary.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCount accounting software, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
