Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure and reliable cloud network infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. The role will focus on cloud networking, connectivity, security, performance optimisation, and disaster recovery readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, operate, manage, and maintain cloud network infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Design and configure cloud networking components including:
• IP addressing, subnets, routing, virtual networks, gateways/hubs, and multi-Availability Zone (AZ) architecture
• Internet Gateway (IGW), Network Access Control Lists (NACLs), Security Groups (SGs), NAT, DNS, DHCP, NTP, load balancing, and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS)
• Perform connectivity testing and validation between on-premise environments and cloud platforms.
• Optimise cloud network resources for performance, availability, and efficiency.
• Implement network policies, configurations, and security controls based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform regular backup of network configurations and support cloud network disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Monitor compliance with defined security standards and policies, and highlight potential risks or non-compliance.
• Collaborate with product architects, platform architects, and solution architects on cloud network architecture design.
• Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and network configuration records.
• Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of cloud network services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or cloud networking roles.
• Hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, routing, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience with cloud networking services in AWS and/or other public cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and disaster recovery practices.
