[What the role is]

As the Deputy Director (Administration), you will provide strategic leadership in the delivery of corporate administration, workplace management and facilities services for the agency. You will drive workplace transformation, sustainability and service excellence initiatives to create a safe, efficient and future-ready work environment that supports organisational effectiveness, staff well-being and employee experience.

[What you will be working on]

• Lead corporate administration functions, including workplace management, facilities management, records management, corporate services, emergency preparedness and business continuity.
• Drive workplace transformation initiatives and office development projects, including workplace strategy, space planning, office renovations, relocation projects, stakeholder engagement and change management to support evolving workforce needs.
• Oversee facilities management operations to ensure buildings, systems and workplace services are safe, reliable, sustainable and responsive to business needs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, building regulations, emergency preparedness requirements, accessibility standards and relevant Government policies.
• Drive sustainability-related initiatives for office premises and administration operations, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, sustainable procurement, use of green-labelled building materials, recycling, and support for GreenGov.SG and Green Mark-related requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and user experience.

• Oversee budget planning, financial management and resource allocation to ensure prudent and effective use of public resources.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, building owners, service providers, and public agencies to deliver effective workplace and corporate service solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop officers, fostering a culture of professionalism, innovation, collaboration and service excellence.
• Undertake other projects and duties as assigned.

[What we are looking for]

• Preferably with 8-10 years related working experience and supervisory role.
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Hands-on and possess good project management skills.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
• Meticulous with attention to details, and good in numeracy skills.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management, contract and vendor management, Government procurement and budget governance.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices, GreenGov.SG requirements, Green Mark standards and sustainable workplace design would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with building regulations, workplace safety standards, and emergency preparedness protocols would be an advantage.
• Enjoys diversity of work scope.
