Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role based in Melaka. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include selecting appropriate tools, performing machining operations such as milling, verifying dimensions, and ensuring finished components meet quality standards. The role also involves routine machine maintenance, identifying and correcting machining issues, and working closely with engineering or production teams to optimize processes. The CNC Machinist is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement in machining operations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Machine Operation, including setting up and running CNC machinery and adjusting parameters as needed.
• Proficiency in Machining and Milling, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use appropriate cutting tools and techniques.
• Experience with Quality Control, including measuring parts, inspecting finished products, and documenting results to meet specifications.
• Hands-on familiarity with industrial Machinery, including basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe equipment handling.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in machining, manufacturing, or a related field; prior CNC machining experience is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Melaka and collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
