Data Platform Engineering

Data Platform Engineering
- Design, develop, and support data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
- Develop and optimize Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions within Fabric.
- Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data structures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the analytics platform.
- Monitor platform performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
- Design and maintain reusable semantic models and datasets.
- Develop enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.
- Optimize Power BI performance, data refresh processes, and report usability.
- Support self-service analytics initiatives while maintaining governance controls.
- Collaborate with business users to translate reporting requirements into scalable solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems, including:
- SAP ERP
- Salesforce CRM
- Master Data Management solutions
- SQL databases
- SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms
- External business applications
- Develop robust ELT/ETL processes and automation workflows.
- Support regional reporting requirements across Southeast Asia markets.
- Implement and maintain data governance standards.
- Support metadata management, lineage, and documentation activities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security and privacy requirements.
- Configure and maintain role-based access controls and data security models.
- Work closely with regional business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements.
- Participate in data architecture discussions and technology roadmaps.
- Contribute to the adoption of analytics best practices throughout the organization.
- Support project delivery, testing, incident resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
- Share technical expertise and mentor colleagues where appropriate.
- University degree in Computer Science, Data/ Software engineering, Mathematics or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics Engineering, or Business Intelligence
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience supporting regional or multinational organizations is highly desirable
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple countries and business functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Experience working in multicultural regional environments
