Role Description The Finance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Johor Baharu. The Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis for JLG’s real estate and infrastructure portfolio. Daily responsibilities include preparing management reports, monitoring cash flow, supporting investment evaluations, and ensuring accurate and timely financial closing. The role will also involve managing compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external auditors, and improving internal controls and financial processes. The Finance Manager will work closely with operational and project teams to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in financial reporting and accounting, preferably with exposure to real estate or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and investment evaluation for property development and related assets.
  • Ability to manage cash flow, capital expenditure, and financial risk within a project and corporate context.
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
