Kerisik Resources Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Resident Engineer (RE) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising construction works, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, contract requirements, and project specifications throughout the project lifecycle. As a Resident Engineer, you'll play a key role in overseeing on-site activities, ensuring project success, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Supervise and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and engineering standards.
• Oversee site activities and provide technical advice on construction methods and engineering matters.
• Coordinate with the Client, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule and report delays or issues to the Project Manager and Client.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance throughout all stages of construction.
• Review and verify engineering drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and material approvals.
• Review and recommend interim payment claims and other contract-related submissions.
• Attend and chair site progress meetings when required, and prepare progress reports.
• Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Participate in project completion, final inspections, Defects Liability Period (DLP), and Maintenance Period activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, engineering standards, contract administration, and quality management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
