Job Description – Store Supervisor

Department: Warehouse / Supply Chain

To supervise and manage all warehouse activities including receiving raw materials, inventory control, production material issuance, finished goods storage, loading operations, and warehouse team management to ensure smooth production support and timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

A. Raw Material Warehouse Management

Material Receiving & Inspection

· Supervise receiving of raw materials, hardware, packaging materials, and purchased components.

· Verify quantity and basic condition against PO and delivery documents.

· Coordinate with QA/QC for incoming inspection.

Inventory Control

· Ensure accurate stock records in ERP/WMS.

· Monitor stock movement and inventory turnover.

· Maintain FIFO principles.

· Investigate stock discrepancies and implement preventive actions.

Production Material Support

· Ensure timely issuance of materials to production.

· Coordinate closely with production planning and purchasing.

· Prevent material shortages that impact production schedules.

B. Finished Goods Warehouse & Delivery Management

Finished Goods Control

· Monitor finished goods receiving from production.

· Ensure proper labeling and storage.

· Maintain order readiness for shipment.

Shipment & Container Loading

· Plan and supervise loading activities.

· Optimize loading efficiency and container utilization.

· Verify shipment quantity and documentation accuracy.

· Coordinate with logistics and transport providers.

Delivery Performance

· Ensure on-time customer delivery performance.

· Minimize shipment errors and damages.

C. Warehouse Operations & Team Management Team Leadership

· Supervise warehouse operators, storekeepers, forklift drivers, and loaders.

· Schedule manpower according to workload.

· Conduct training and performance coaching.

Warehouse Efficiency

· Monitor productivity and operational performance.

· Improve warehouse layout and workflow.

D. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Safety & Housekeeping

· Enforce warehouse SOP and safety requirements.

· Maintain warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards.

Continuous Improvement

· Lead improvement initiatives to reduce handling time, damage, and stock errors.

Ad Hoc Task

· Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

Education

· Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

· Minimum 3–5 years warehouse experience.

· Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

· Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.

Technical Skills

· ERP / WMS knowledge.

· Inventory analysis.

· Container loading planning.

· Microsoft Excel.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
