Job Title: Restaurant Service Crew

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Location of restaurant: Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

Customer Services

• Greet and seat customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Take and deliver customer orders accurately and promptly.

Menu Knowledge:

• Have a thorough understanding of the menu items.
• Provide recommendations and answer customer questions.

Order Accuracy:

• Ensure orders are accurate and meet customer specifications.
• Double-check orders before delivering to tables.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and other servers.
• Relay customer feedback and special requests to the kitchen.

Upselling:

• Suggest additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Promote desserts, drinks, or other upsell opportunities.

Table Maintenance:

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area.
• Set up and reset tables efficiently.

Billing and Payments:

• Present bills to customers and process payments accurately.
• Handle cash transactions and provide correct change.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with kitchen and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist colleagues when needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in customer service is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
• Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
