Job Description – Executive, Finance (Costing)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive (Costing) to manage product costing, cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and experience in manufacturing or production costing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product costing and cost analysis.
• Monitor production costs, material costs, and labour costs.
• Perform cost variance analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare monthly costing reports and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and standard costing.
• Analyze manufacturing overheads and operational expenses.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations departments.
• Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in costing, finance, or accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, inventory costing, and cost accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (SQL, SAP, Oracle, AutoCount, etc.) is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
