Job Description – Maintenance Technician

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment through routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety standards

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily visual inspections and monitoring of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Take immediate corrective action when abnormal machine conditions are detected.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuous and reliable machine performance.
• Maintain and repair machinery in accordance with maintenance schedules and operational requirements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of machine control systems to support efficient troubleshooting and repairs.
• Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance activities.
• Comply with company policies, work procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Support additional maintenance tasks and projects assigned by supervisors and planners.
• Perform multitasking duties to support overall plant operations and maintenance objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of drive applications, including VFDs and motor control systems, is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good safety awareness and commitment to maintaining workplace standards.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
