Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven QA Assistant Manager to oversee the company's Quality Assurance activities, ensuring that products and processes meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will support the QA Manager in leading the QA team and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the QA Manager in managing daily Quality Assurance operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints, non-conformities, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits by customers and certification bodies.
- Analyze quality data and prepare quality reports for management.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve quality documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and inspection records.
- Train and mentor QA staff to enhance competency and performance.
- Ensure inspection and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality control principles.
- Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or other relevant quality standards.
- Good understanding of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and CAPA.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently and lead a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Internal Auditor certification and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are an added advantage.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
