We are looking for experienced construction professionals to oversee and manage civil construction activities for Data Centre and other major infrastructure/building projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan, coordinate and manage construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to the required quality, budget and timeline.
• Oversee site progress and ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Manage construction resources including methodology, manpower, materials and machinery.
• Review structural, architectural, M&E and other relevant drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies or clashes.
• Prepare and monitor construction programmes, including fortnightly and monthly work schedules.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, architects, authorities and other project stakeholders to resolve site and technical issues.
• Monitor subcontractors’ work progress, payments, valuations, variation orders and abortive works.
• Review construction methods and ensure proper implementation of quality and testing requirements.
• Monitor compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project and site teams.
• Identify and resolve site hindrances, construction issues and disputes.
• Lead, guide and support team members to achieve project objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction management.
• Proven experience in infrastructure, building or Data Centre construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering design principles.
• Experience in managing construction activities, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of CAD/drawing software and project management tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or other relevant planning software is an advantage.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is preferred.
• Good project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.
• Strong leadership, accountability and delegation skills.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
