The Role
Here's what your day-to-day will involve:
- Coordinating freight bookings, customs clearance and shipment documentation for import and export activities
- Liaising with forwarding agents, third-party transporters, ISO tank and Flexibag operators, and surveyors
- Collaborating with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to minimise downtime and improve operational flow
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, HSE policies and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
- Supporting month-end and year-end stock reconciliation processes
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, preferably within manufacturing, warehousing or a 3PL environment
- Solid knowledge of import and export processes and third-party logistics coordination
- Familiarity with customs forms (K1, K2, K8, ZB1, ZB2, ZB4) is a strong advantage
- Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or AutoCount is an added bonus
