Position Details

• Position: KYC / AML Analyst
• Industry: Banking & Financial Services
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: Singapore
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Office Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for new and existing clients.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers and complex account structures.
• Review and verify customer documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Screen customers against Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), and Adverse Media databases.
• Identify, assess, and escalate potential AML/CFT risks or suspicious activities to the Compliance team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in internal systems.
• Support periodic account reviews, remediation projects, and regulatory exercises.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers, Operations, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to obtain required information.
• Ensure all KYC and onboarding activities are completed within established SLA and regulatory timelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Financial Crime, or Banking Operations is preferred.
• Good understanding of MAS regulations and AML/CFT requirements.
• Familiarity with KYC screening tools and customer onboarding processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
