Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and committed Safety Coordinator to support marine and land project operations by maintaining a safeworking environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and project safety standards, and enabling smooth site operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in strict alignment with internal safety protocols and project requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety protocols that mitigate risks and enhance site safety.
- Promote and enforce a proactive safety culture by driving rigorous safe-work practices across project sites.
- Conduct systematic site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues, and initiate corrective actions.
- Coordinate and lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) inductions to educate and engage site personnel.
- Assist in preparing detailed risk assessments, safe work procedures (SWP), and method statements to support safe project execution.
Required competencies and certifications
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Singapore.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in marine and land project operations.
- Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, particularly related to marine and port projects.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safe work procedures.
- Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in safety management contexts.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for report preparation and documentation.
