Role Overview
The Business & Data Analytics, Assistant Manager will lead key analytical initiatives centered on data analytics and operational optimization. This role manages a dedicated team of analysts, works alongside executive leadership, and translates complex datasets into strategic insights that drive global store expansion and operational excellence.
This is a 100% on-site role based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. Applicants must possess existing legal authorization to work in Malaysia, as Employment Pass (EP) sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable analytics for executive long-term planning while identifying trends, inefficiencies, and financial optimization opportunities.
- Oversee market analysis to guide location strategy, store network optimization, and performance troubleshooting for specific retail sites.
- Lead the development of interactive BI dashboards and reporting automation tools to elevate analytical efficiency.
- Partner directly with department heads and senior executives to align analytical outputs with key business priorities.
- Champion modern analytics frameworks and lead optimization initiatives across regional business units.
- Mentor and guide a team of analysts through regular coaching, shared learning, and a data-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, operational optimization, or business analytics.
- Proficiency in Excel and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio.
- Strong problem-solving ability with written and verbal presentation skills suitable for senior leadership.
- Solid grounding in operational optimization frameworks, strategic planning techniques, and project management.
- Capability to balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
