The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Position: Project Engineer

Department: Project

Reporting to: Project Manager/ Sr. Project Manager

Competency Requirement: Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma In Engineering or minimum 1 year of working experience in M&E construction field

Working location: Johor Bharu / Puncak Alam

Job Scope:

1) Responsible for the overall management and engineering execution of the projects.

2) Plan, execute and monitor all projects’ activities throughout the contract.

3) Responsible for all documentations and claim submissions as well as certificates and payments.

4) Carrying out tender estimation and submission

Job Responsibilities:

1) Plan and monitor progress of each project and co-ordinate site matters.

2) Ensure proper drawings submission and timely approval.

3) Co-ordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials in accordance with site progress and needs.

4) Ensure timely joint measurement of works done and submission of monthly claims.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 3 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
