Job Summary

Support daily restaurant operations by leading the service team, ensuring high service standards, managing inventory and costs, and delivering excellent customer experiences as Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery
• Lead and supervise the service team to provide efficient, professional customer service that enhances guest satisfaction
• Enforce compliance with company SOPs, food hygiene regulations, and workplace safety standards to maintain operational excellence
• Manage customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery to uphold positive dining experiences
• Support staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a competent team
• Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance to optimize workforce scheduling
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock ordering, and implement stock control measures to maintain supply accuracy
• Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and daily closing procedures to ensure financial accuracy
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate operations and maintain service flow
• Monitor operational costs and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets through effective management
• Take charge of restaurant operations during the Restaurant Manager’s absence to maintain continuity
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to support business needs

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Hospitality, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the Food & Beverage industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrated through team management and coaching
• Customer-focused communication and problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced restaurant environments
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food hygiene, and inventory management practices
