Full Time Purchasing Assistant Jobs, Salary up to SGD 3,000 in Okamura Trading Singapore Pte Ltd - Maukerja

To provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing function to ensure efficient procurement processes, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and verification of product labels (translation from Japanese to English) in compliance with SFA regulations
• Assist in checking regulatory requirements, including food import standards and documentation
• Maintain and update master data (e.g., product details, supplier information, pricing) in internal systems
• Coordinate with HQ overseas department on shipment arrangements, supplier information, and product updates
• Prepare and monitor shipment schedules from Japana, including tracking shipment status based on container details
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain required documentation such as specification sheets, quotations, and any related documents
• Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of procurement and shipment documents
• Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team as required

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• JLPT N3 or above.
• Ability to read and understand Japanese documents and product labels.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).
• Previous administrative experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in the food industry, trading, or import/export business will be an advantage.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
