Full Time Commis 1 Jobs, salary up to MYR 2,500 in Geno Hotel Subang Jaya - Maukerja

· To maintain high customer service focus by approaching your job with the customers always in mind.

· To be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.

· To maintain as “high performing team” focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.

· To ensure that all kitchen areas are maintained to the highest levels of cleanliness as to follow Standard of Food Safety Management System. (i.e. date labelling, storing, unbox food item from box, can, etc.)

· To ensure and check the correctness of the temperature of appliances and foods. To follow food protection techniques, to include keep hot food at 141 F (60 C), cold food at 40 F (4 C) or below, cover, dating and rotation.

· To maintain a kitchen environment that promotes flair, creativity, and consistency in the quality of food taste and presentation.

· To closely monitor and control the daily food items, ensuring quality of goods received, taking corrective action where necessary, practice food storage - FIFO method.

· To take note of temperature log for hot food, hot warmer, freezer, and chiller.

· To be familiar with the hotel’s standard set up for buffets.

· To be aware of Colour Code Chopping Board.

· To manage food cost, spoilage and food wastages as per guideline

· To ensure proper use of chemical usage and safety procedures.

· To assist in mentoring and coaching any commis cook / interns as assigned

· To undertake any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
