About the role

As an Intern, Quality Control, you will support the Quality Control team in routine laboratory operations and gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical analytical testing. During this period, intern is expected to gain exposure to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), regulatory compliance, and analytical instrumentation.

• 1 headcount for Novugen Pharma Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities: -

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the QC laboratory.
• Support verification of calibration status and preventive maintenance of instruments.
• Help manage inventory of chemicals, reference standards, and lab consumables.
• Observe and assist in basic analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products under supervision.
• Assist in documentation and logbook updates in compliance with GLP.
• Participate in SOP reviews and updates for learning purposes.
• Support data entry and documentation tasks in SAP or other systems.
• Shadow QC analysts during calibration and verification procedures.

About you

Job Requirements:

• Must be a Final year student pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Exposure/Basic understanding of laboratory systems and computerized analytical instruments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, people leadership and communication skills.
• Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization
• Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in high-pressure and ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results.
• Able to attend minimum of 6 months period of internship
• Must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bandar Baru Enstek: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
